Best of the South - 22 day New Zealand Cycling Vacation
 Combining the Hot Pools, Passes & Rainforests and Great West Coast Cycle Tours with the Southern Coast Cycle provides a unique contrast between the rainforests of the West Coast, spectacular Stewart Island and the wildlife and fossilised remnants of the Catlins Coast.
The circuit starts in Christchurch and cycles over Lewis Pass and down the West Coast taking in a first hand experience on the Fox Glacier. Via the Haast Pass it enters Otago province before a two day rest in Queenstown, the "adventure capital of the world". Heading south we divert by ferry for a free day on Stewart Island, before travelling around the base of the South Island and up to Dunedin.

- bicycle the stunning coastal road as we travel down the coast to the beautiful Pancake Rocks at Punakaiki

- descend into the headwaters of the mighty Otago valleys from the summit of Haast Pass
- try your hand at bungy jumping, jet boating, rafting or perhaps hunt out your favourite Pinot Noir at Queenstown
- go kayaking or hunt for kiwis on beautiful Stewart Island as part of your overnight stay
- visit NZ’s southern most city before heading back up the eastern coastline via the spectacular Catlins Coast with its exotic wildlife
- on this tour the use of our Trek Hybrid 7500 or 7300 cycles is included in the tour cost. You have the option of upgrading to Trek 1.5 road touring bikes for an extra NZD $30 per day. You are also welcome to bring your own bike by prior arrangement.
