 We have selected the best cycling highlights of this region - from mountains to the coast and wineries to hot pools, this tour has a wide variety of cycling experiences. This trip travels from coast to coast via the beech forest slopes of Lewis Pass, before dropping down to Punakaiki and one of the best coastal rides in the world. This tour also includes a night at St Arnaud in the Nelson Lakes National Park.
This tour can be combined with the Southern Lakes Cycle and forms part of the 25 day Southern Explorer Cycle Tour. If you book two consecutive tours with us we will include one nights lodging (before, after or between tours) free of charge.

- On this tour the use of our Trek Hybrid 7500 or 7300 cycles is included in the tour cost. You have the option of upgrading to Trek 1.5 road touring bikes for an extra NZD $30 per day. You are also welcome to bring your own bike by prior arrangement.
