Cycling through natures wonderland!
 Check out our exciting new itinerary combining awesome rides on quiet Southland roads and a two night stay on magical Stewart Island, with the wildlife of the remote & beautiful Catlins Coast.
Starting in Queenstown and dipping southwards on the very quiet roads that edge onto Fiordland National Park, we stay on a local farm before looping along the windswept southern coast. We leave the rolling plains of Southland to spend two nights on the remote and magical Stewart Island with its beautiful bays and rare birdlife. The 8 day itinerary covers new terrain as we tour the Catlins Coast, rich in its history and wildlife. We picnic on the beach at beautiful Curio Bay, home to an ancient petrified forest, fur seals, rare Hector Dolphins & Yellow-Eyed Penguins before turning north towards our final night in Dunedin, with its rich Scottish history. This tour can be combined with the Great West Coast Cycle tour. If you book two consecutive tours with us we will include one nights lodging (before, after or between tours) free of charge.
For those keen to explore this region more, we offer an optional extra one day cycling tour on the Otago Peninsula, including lunch at Larnach Castle and a visit to an Albatross & Penguin colony.

- cycle alongside Lake Wakitipu as you head towards Te Anau on the edge of the Fiordland National Park
- meet some "Kiwi" farmers, enjoy their down to earth hospitality and take a private tour of their farms

- take an optional Sea Kayak excursion in Patterson Inlet on remote Stewart Island
- take an optional night tour into the Rakiura National Park to see the rare Kiwi birds in the wild
- discover the magic of the Catlins Coast with its beautiful bays and exotic wildlife
- on this tour the use of our Trek Hybrid 7500 or 7300 cycles is included in the tour cost. You have the option of upgrading to Trek 1.5 road touring bikes for an extra NZD $30 per day. You are also welcome to bring your own bike by prior arrangement.
