Take this unique opportunity to be totally immersed in the pristine wilderness of the West Coast of New Zealand with one of our newest trekking holidays. Over its 7 day duration you will hike through lush rainforest, soak in natural hot pools beneath majestic mountains, visit glaciers and kayak on a giant river delta. Seven days of diversity, spanning much of the length of the West Coast, with a three day trek to remote natural hot pools high in a mountain valley which rises from beneath the Southern Alps.

 

Soaking in the pools under the huge Milky Way is a trip highlight! Later we have the option to take a guided walk on the spectacular Fox Glacier and marvel at its crevasses and ice caves. We have the option to kayak the tranquil Okarito lagoon and watch native birds feeding in the shallows, or hike to another neighbouring lagoon and explore the coast if the tides allow. A final night on the coast at Haast provides a fitting finale before we head home to end in the renowned Southern Alps playground, Queenstown.
