Unsealed/Easy
At Adventure South we 'almost' understand kids!  Families of past trips have provided input into the design of this itinerary - the early dinners, shorter cycle sections, and safe cycling on off-road trails. If all else fails, we always have a friendly guide and a support vehicle for help.

This adventure will have your family cycling back in time to New Zealand's rural past along a trail that has been specifically converted for walkers, mountain bikers, horse riders - no cars allowed! The trail follows the old Central Otago branch railway line passing through many towns along the way.  This trip isn't just about cycling, it's also about exploring the many towns, gold diggings and meeting the locals.

From the moment you arrive until the day you depart, we're behind the scenes taking care of every last detail. Our guides and staff are there to ensure your family's safety and comfort every step of the way. Your only job is to show up and be ready to have a great family trip!
